EA|GA is directed by a board of experienced business leaders supported by a team of highly qualified personnel and strategic partners, allowing us to draw on a broad range of experiences and connectivity regionally as well as globally, enabling us to provide clients and partners with comprehensive business and industry insight and implementation.

The executive Board of EA|GA brings many years of experience, skills and knowledge across many services and industries including: Accounting, Law, public offerings, Business Development, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering and Management, Manufacturing, Real Estate Development, Master Planning, Architecture, Software Development and Management.

With their international experience in managing projects and directing business development issues members of the EA|GA Executive board have an innate feel for the cross cultural business issues that are confronted on a daily basis that are every bit important as the business knowledge and that if handled insensitively, can derail a project.

Douglas E. Railton, Chairman and CEO
Mr. Railton has enjoyed over 35 years in international business management activities with a focus on start up enterprises. Most of these projects were established on the premises of indigenizing the processes as much as possible to the host country. Accomplishments include; a software development company with offices in India, Germany and the USA that was taken public; recycling facilities in Mexico producing PET; founding a company to engineer and manufacturing solar hot water systems in Oregon, other manufacturing facilities in the US, Brazil, India, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong, produced products including marine equipment, high speed boats, food products and military equipment. Mr. Railton led a team to establish a joint venture with GTel Mobile in Vietnam and Vimpelcom of Russia to introduce the Beeline telecommunications company, a US$1 billion investment. 
Kerry Smith, International Legal
Mr. Smith is a Partner at Montgomery & Hansen, with more than 20 years’ experience in the practice of corporate and securities law at major U.S. law firms, and has been CFO of a NASDAQ listed public company. He has represented international and domestic public companies, emerging growth corporations, venture capital funds and private equity funds in a broad array of industries. He advises clients in the area of general corporate governance matters. While at DLA Piper, Mr. Smith responsible for directing the legal activities during the GTel Mobile telecom (Beeline) project that Mr. Railton was involved in. Mr. Smith holds a J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law and a B.S. in Accountancy from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a CPA (inactive) and practiced at Deloitte & Touche prior to attending law school.
(Dato) Kamal A. Zaharin, International Architecture and Master Planning
Kamal studied Architecture at the University of Miami completing his final studio work in Modern Town and Suburb Planning Master’s Program under Professors Andres Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk, highly regarded for their architectural and city planning prac-tices and ideas. Their work on the Seaside Florida project was named the “Best of the Decade” by Time magazine. Prior to graduating in 1989 Kamal accepted a position with Duany & Plater Zyberk Architects and Town Plan-ners. This led to Kamal’s involvement in numerous town planning and architectural projects in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
